The innovation center is monitored by the representatives from Ministry of women children and social welfare (SWC) in 2075 Jestha 4 BS, located in Manapathi saving and credit cooperative Likhu Gaupalika-05, Nagdaha Ramechhap and the innovation center was initiated by the USAID/FHI360 funded the civil society Mutual accountability project (HURADEC- Nepal).
The team members from SWC were monitoring Officer Mr. Shiv Kumar Basnet and Birmani Chaudhary and they had visited the innovation centre as well as the district coordinator of HURADEC/civil Society Mutual accountability project Ramechhap Mr. Nawaraj Pathik briefed them the concept, significance and progress as well as how to utilize community building, social mobilization, the role of cooperative and women groups along with ways of having public services from local level.
The participants had added that they are planning to utilize the building as common platform and undertake income generation as well as maintain information center relating to disaster management. The team member Mr. Basnet shared that women empowerment, education, health, agriculture and income generation should align together and ultimately contribute for community development and Ministry of women, children and social welfare is always ready to contribute as it can.
The building is consisted with cooperative, community learning center as well as for the purpose of utilizing information technology, HURADEC- Dolakha has supported a computer and basic furniture through civil society mutual accountability project funded by USAID/FHI360 and NPR 3000 for the operation and management
